The vision of it all came together on a rainy drive home from work in December 2012. As soon as creator, Heather Yurko developed Neatbeat in her head, including everything from the catchy language the salon would possess to the huge Points of Difference they would offer guests, she called up her girl, Terri and scheduled a dinner date.
Over chips and salsa, Heather explained the culture, goals and vibe Neatbeat would have. With no college degree, financial support or any experience with owning a company, the only things she had was passion and belief in herself. (A sick amount of both) Heather remembers her throat fluttering and legs shaking at the table with so much excitement for what the future potentially held. When she finished her long shot of a pitch, her friend looked at her with wide eyes and said, “If there is anyone I know that can do this, it’s you Heather Yurko.”
At that moment, in those bright blue booths, at their favorite Mexican restaurant, Neatbeat became so much more than just an idea.
